BD6

The BD6 is a completely asbestos-free finish applied to the SLMW. It provides additional resistance and offers extra protection against all kinds of damage.

Product features

BD6 is an attractive product with a modest thickness, long lifespan, and high resistance. It is a self-polymerising product that applies quickly and easily, offers optimal protection, and can be finished in a decorative manner of your choice.

The BD6 comes in the form of a dry powder and can be easily mixed with water before application.

The BD6 does not require a heat source to cure. However, the BD-6 is not waterproof or vapour-proof and must be covered with a sealing coat for outdoor applications.

 

Composition

BD6 is a completely asbestos-free finish, made from carefully selected cement-based binders, inorganic fillers, and other reinforcing additives.

Production

BD6 is a Belgian product manufactured in our state-of-the-art, fully automated production facility in Blandain, in accordance with the strict quality standards of ISO 9001 certification.

NESTAAN can provide various certificates for the BD6:

  • BS476p4: 1972
  • EN13501p1: 2009 currently being certified
  • ISO 9001
